Charles Darwin's 'Evolution of Man' states that all species of organisms arise and develop through the natural selection of small, inherited variations that increase the individual's ability to compete, survive, and reproduce. In 1859 he published 'On the Origin of the Species' and in it a very famous image that we have a very quirky 3D representation of, based on a cockerel!
These figurines are crafted from the highest quality resin that highlight the detail in the feathers and legs of the cockerels. They are mounted together on a dark base representing the timeline of evolution, from egg to fully grown chicken.
This would make a great gift for a family member with a keen interest in Darwinism and sense of humour or perhaps you have chickens yourself and would like a new poultry ornament for your home. Wherever these chaps end up they are sure to bring a knowing smile.

Here at Brown and Ginger we promise to do our best to have a positive impact on our environment, we've switched to paper tape which is not only easier for you to open (no scissors required!) but it's easier on the environment. We also use 100% starch packing chips which simply melt away under water and FSC certified voidfill paper.
Only where absolutely neccessary do we use plastic packaging which has been re-used from other packaging, come with the product from the factory or, when shipping mirrors or particularly delicate items, to provide the extra protection to stop the items breaking in transit.
We have also recently made the switch to eco bubble wrap for those items where we want to make extra sure it gets to you safely. This is green and can be recycled with your other plastic.
We're working with our suppliers to reduce their use of plastic and will always do our best to ensure we're being as ethical as possible in all of our practices.
