The Art Deco period, also called 'style moderne', was an design movement that swept across Europe and America in the 1920's and 30's, influencing everything from interiors and architecture to textiles and fashion. The intention was to create a sleek and anti-traditional elegance that symbolised wealth and sophistication.
Clean lines, geometric patterns and expensive materials were often used to craft feature pieces such as our pair of glass mirrored nest tables. The distressed finish of the items give them a more authentic feel whilst still remaining refined, elegant and oozing class.
